Want to know the best thing about breastfeeding? (Other than convenience, cost, bond, and health benefits, I mean.) No period for five months. A year would've been better, of course, but still, counting when I was pregnant, I haven't had my period in 14 months, and that is a beautiful beautiful thing. On the down side, I forgot how irritating it is. I need to get knocked up again.

He's such a good baby that it would be easy to want another one soon. Enjoy your time with him and putting up with a few periods in between won't be too bad.
Wow, I'm jealous. I'm one of those who breastfed exclusively, on demand for the first six months, and two months after my daughter was born, I got my period. Ugh... But, I'm really happy for those like you. I'm following your from the Monday blog hop.
